Communication with Participants (Reminder Email)

The following instructions do not concern the resend of RSVP invitations. If you wish to resend RSVP invitations to those who have not responded, go to Manage > Resend RSVPs.

Email Template Configuration

  1. Go to Event > Customize > Templates.
  2. Under Main, select Contact Email.
  3. Edit it by clicking on the icon  on the right.
  4. Customize the Subject and Body of the email template.
  5. Click Save.
Fields within curly brackets {{...}} automatically pull information available in the event.
For example:
  1. {{event_name}} automatically applies the event's name.
  2. {{salutation}} {{first_name}} {{last_name}} automatically applies the salutation, first name, and last name of the invitee receiving the email.

Send Email Communication

Individual Sending

  1. Go to Manage > Registrations.
  2. Find the participant you wish to contact.
  3. Click on the icon  next to their name and select Contact.
  4. Choose the desired email template.
  5. Select the delivery method (email / SMS), and whether you want to attach the ticket to the email.
  6. Select Preview.
  7. Ensure all details are correct, then click Send.

Bulk Sending

  1. Go to Manage > Contact attendees.
  2. Select Recipients. (If you wish to send a payment reminder, select Send to Registration contact persons to ensure they receive the payment reminder.)
  3. Choose Ticket Types.
  4. Choose Delivery Method (email / sms).
  5. Select the email template.
  6. Activate Attach Tickets if desired.
  7. Click Preview.
  8. Ensure all details are correct, then click Send.
