Accept Stripe payments

How can I enable Stripe?

  1. Create an account on Stripe. (https://dashboard.stripe.com/register?country=GR)
  2. To enable Stripe payments, go to Event > Setup > Ticket Types.
  3. Select Payment Methods at the top right.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Select Add merchant / Manage payments.
  6. Choose Add Merchant > Stripe.
If you want to enable iDEAL (a very popular payment method in the Netherlands and other countries), check the iDEAL checkbox. Make sure you have enabled iDEAL in the Stripe control panel as well.

How can I make payments with Stripe?

  1. When adding the payment method, enter the Stripe test keys (Publishable Key and Secret Key) in the corresponding fields (you can find them in the Stripe control panel).
  2. Click Save.
  3. Go to your event and perform a test registration, selecting card payment.
  4. Find test card numbers that you can use to make test payments by clicking here.
Once you complete your tests, remember to remove the test keys and enter the real keys in Event > Setup > Ticket Types > Payment Methods.
